Motel 6 Florence, SC

We made a reservation, and what a mistake. After checking in, and going to our room, saw it, we asked to cancel our reservation and left. It was the worst Motel 6 we have ever stayed at. Water in the floor, large gap under the entry door, cabinet doors falling off, mold/mildew around the tub (which was in an ADA room, what should be a walk in shower), sheets in the bed did not even look clean, paint peeling, overall disgusting… looked like a lot of “homeless” in the area.

Positive: Pet friendly with no hassles. Negative: Visible cockroaches. Not enough pillows. One more would have been sufficient.

Cockroach infested... falling apart ceilings.... disgusting bathroom, flooring coming up.... frayed curtains. Oh, did I mention the people/employee that was staying there and got woke up at 5:15 in the morning by somebody banging on the door next to me to get that person up to go to work.

Where to start!! First off at check in they supposedly couldn’t find my reservation and charged me more than what it was supposed to cost. This is the absolute worst ever place to stay!! Not only is the paint pealing off the ceiling, the tub overlay was bubbling up from the original tub, the calking was cracking from around the edges and I’m almost 💯 % sure that was the cause of the bubbling overlay. Then came the mold in the shower. As I am getting in the shower I reach up to adjust the shower head and it’s not exactly stable it’s very wobbly and I realize the whole part of the wall is like calk. As I’m getting out of the shower I happen to notice around the bottom of the shower there is mold. I was in the mind set it’s just for 2 nights, so I was going to suffer through it and it would b

Don't do it disgusting I wanted to leave but my family was so tired I was voted out we slept in our clothes on top of the bed. The toilet was broken and we had to use an ice bucket with water to flush.
