Moose Mountain Lodge

The home was even more beautiful than the photos. The rooms are spacious and the location peaceful with the lake (Lake Placid) and surrounding mountain views within minutes of walking. The home is also one of the most well constructed homes we have stayed at with many extra touches and beautiful trim work. There are so many amenities/activities available that we hardly had a chance to touch on (kayaking, paddling, golf, biking, x-country skiing, hiking- access and gear in many cases). The owner was very responsive- usually immediately. She had great suggestions and directions were very easy. We hope to return!

Spent a weekend at the house for a bachelorette party. All 14 girls LOVED the house and the area it is located. Especially the bride! We had a wonderful time. We were allowed to check-in early, and arrived to a very clean, beautiful house filled with tons of amenities (hot tub, sauna, a bed for everyone to sleep in, cross country skis, snow shoes, golf course, etc.) I would HIGHLY recommend this house rental for any occasion. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to go back.

Reservations were easy to make, and we were even sat early. However we waited at least an hour for our food to come out, and when it did it wasn't even hot. The manager took care of us to an extent, but overall it was not the experience we had read so much about. Overall disappointing.

Rented it for a ski trip with 13 other people and had a great time. Highly recommended.
