Marriott Bethesda Downtown at Marriott HQ

We were very impressed with this newer hotel in downtown Bethesda. The restaurant staff, specifically Griffin, was excellent and the food was great. The decor was Modern and the hotel was very clean/well-kept. They thought of the client when designing this hotel. We have enjoyed many Marriott properties around the world, and this jewel should be considered a boutique marquee hotel.

Due to a very full house, I booked a room for my parents over Thanksgiving weekend. The one problem, though, was that I had accidentally made a reservation for the week prior! Thank goodness Thao was working at the front desk the evening my parents arrived. She kept everyone calm and managed to secure them a room during one of the busiest weekends of the year. Thao saved Thanksgiving! We are forever grateful.

Very nice spot. Great restaurant and bars. Rooms were comfortable though not luxury. Parking is expensive but available in nearby well lit and accessible lot(s).

Both the M Club in the lobby and the bar on the 13th floor are exceptional. Gym and all other amenities are top tier. Fantastic hotel in a prime area
