Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda Downtown

Terrible experience. |Only 1 if 3 elevators was running. So the waits were longer than necessary. They weren’t broken. They just turned two off, I guess to save money? I arrived after dinner so I went to the bar to order food and have some beers. After the first beer I was told they didn’t have any more of this basic domestic beer. So I ordered a different one and was informed that those were warm. Ordered a flatbread and was told they didn’t have those ingredients so I had to order a different one. While I was there, another person came to the bar and ask for a menu and the bartender said let me show you the items we don’t have, 5 or 6 items. It’s a small menu. Went to breakfast and my coworker ordered an omelette. They didn’t have those ingredients. This is a low amenity hotel. There are

stayed at a hotel in Bethesda, Maryland recently, and honestly it surprised me in the best way. The location was perfect — right by the metro, which made it super easy to get around without stressing about parking. The staff were really chill and helpful, not overbearing, just genuinely nice people who made checking in and getting settled simple. My room was clean, modern, and way more comfortable than I expected. The bed was actually great, and the bathroom looked freshly updated, which I appreciated. I also liked that the area felt really safe, and there were plenty of food spots within walking distance, so I never felt stuck eating the same thing. Overall, it felt like a solid mix of convenience, comfort, and good service. I’d definitely stay there again next time I’m in the area.

My experience here was an amazing one, possibly ond of the best hotel experiences Ive had. Living out of a hotel seemed dull but the hospitality made up for it. The staff were respectful and kind. It felt nice to come 'home' after a long day at work to a clean room. Our room was like this consistently. I am truely thankful to the hotel staff.

Oftentimes a problem becomes an opportunity for a company to show its best side and that was our experience here. We had a housekeeping hiccup that was resolved quickly and completely to our satisfaction. The hotel's location was perfect for our stay, the bed comfy, room spacious and the shower powerful We will stay again.

Positive: Staff helped retrieve our lost balloons from their very high ceilings. Negative: I actually have written to the Hilton about the state of our room. It was clean but otherwise was missing or had broken most of the amenities in the room. Phone, remote, drawers, picture on wall, outlets -- all either missing or broken. Rooms mildewy.
