Maple Leaf Inn - Lake Placid

We stayed one night at this motel to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. The location is perfect, about a 10-minute walk to Mirror Lake, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having a large TV, a fridge, and a microwave. Everything was spotless. There’s no front desk, you receive a code and room number before your arrival, which makes check-in super easy and convenient. Great location and very good value for the price. We’ll definitely stay here again! 🍁

Absolutely thrilled with this property! Renovated, well appointed, clean and comfortable with unreal level of customer service that rivals (or actually beats) any major hotel chain I’ve ever used. Contactless check-in worked perfectly. Terrific location, reasonable rates, definitely staying here again! It’s like the best of a small town or roadside motel but with all the modern conveniences you could want. Recommended!

We had a lovely time staying at the Maple Leaf Inn. We had unit 16 which includes 2 rooms (each with a king sized bed) and bathroom. The accommodations were basic yet clean and cozy. It was very quiet and we slept perfectly. Everything worked fine. It's a short walk to downtown, which was very nice. The communication was perfect and we were ok with contactless checkin. We would come back again.

We booked this motel with mixed expectations, but the unbeatable location and price (especially during peak season) made it worth a shot--and we're so glad we did. Hotels nearby were charging $400+ more per night, so finding a walkable spot from downtown at this rate felt like a win from the start. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly friendly and communicative throughout the booking process, and while they're not on-site 24/7, they were always just a phone call away and super responsive. The renovations really shine--everything from the floors to the bathrooms feels fresh and modern. The bed frames and flooring are new, and while a mattress pad would be a nice touch for added cleanliness, the overall comfort was solid. The bathroom was sleek

The rooms are plain but everything is clean and all amenities work. Cars are parked parallel to the front door of each unit so it’s only 7 feet away, perfect for mobility issues. Great location, Main St is only a 13 minute walk which can save money and avoids parking frustrations. Three minute walk to McDonald’s for a quick coffee/meal and a bakery and ice cream across the street.
