Magnuson Hotel Detroit Airport

You get what you pay for ……..They canceled my flight so i had to book last min with my child. For 1 night this is fine. Shuttle was easy 4min from airport loved that ( TIP THE DRIVER ) , front desk very nice , room was okay , bathroom was very clean , warm and overall for 1 night i cant complain. Its literally across the street from airport so you cant beat that. Food near by as well. PROS: great value , 4min from airport , shuttle , 2-3 food spots next door , friendly front desk & comfy bed. CONS : basic comp breakfast , the hallways did smell but my room was fine. Also for more than 1 night i dont know..

Service, is Okay they accomadate you if possible. But need better tv service only able to watch eleven channels mostly regular tv. . Its a decent place to sleep for the price Jade who works at the front is friendly and pleasant no issues with staff.

The gent that checked us in was lovely. The parking convenient. If you’re just here to sleep, great. A large dead spider smeared on the white bathroom walls, vomit in the garbage bag, the tv didn’t work. Breakfast was done at 9, and at 9:04 there was no options.

Please be aware of this place. They are not accommodating to customers and the front desk clerk is extremely rude. The hotel manager doesn't ever call you back. I booked through a third party site that changed my booking date to a month a head. Which I found out that this happens often. I will never ever again book through Super. Com they will mess up your dates purposefully because you didn't pay the extra money for cancellations. Back to the hotel they did not meaning (manager) try at all to assist me in fixing the dates to the correct ones in which they had the power to do so. The manager never called me back to let me know if he got the email that was sent so that the date could be corrected. Instead I was talked to so condescending by the hotel clerk. I want to say the hotel is reasonable, also want to say thank you to Jade & Kam for the awesome great service nothing goes unnoticed ladies. Keep doing a good job keep smiles on your faces everyday! I appreciate the service and the respect that goes a long way. The hotel isn’t a bad place to stay I would definitely rate a 4 star, far as breakfast I wish yall had cheese eggs to go with them waffles lol other then that no complaints.
