Magnolia Inn & Suites

The elevator doesn't work, the reception doors don't work either, there's never a buffet, the parking lot is full of potholes, and they don't take out the trash in the rooms and they only clean every two weeks. The worst hotel in town

Roach hotel for sure. Absolutely terrible. Not clean and rooms smell musty. Found 2 roaches in my room. Hairdryer didn't work. No coffee in breakfast room they told us to go back to room to make coffee if we wanted it. Lobby full of junk. Lobby not clean. Carpet looks filthy. I stayed here 2 years ago and it didn't seem so bad. Would never stay here again.

This hotel is just disgusting 🤮, I am literally sick from my stay 2 nights ago. My reservation was for 2 NON smoking rooms through Expedia. We arrived about 3 am because of delayed flights. We were so tired I just got the keys and we went to the rooms. Elevator was full of marijuana smoke. We opened the doors and were slammed in the face with cigarettes !!! But at 3 am with 8 month old twins, and a 7 year old.. the only choice we had was to go to bed. The pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, everything was full of cigarette smoke !!! In the morning we just grabbed our stuff and checked out, as we had a 4 hour drive . At check out I complained about the smoke smell, and the lady said that the second floor was the smoking floor !! The rooms smelled of mold. The spot near the window was shining through our first floor room. No coffee was ready for breakfast! The towels are super thin and you can’t wrap it around your body. The exit door was which is a huge safety concern!

Located a short distance from downtown Memphis. And located near many options. From shops to gas stations and many places to eat. The rooms were nice, clean and maintened very well. The staff was very kind and welcoming during all shifts. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The bathroom was clean and stocked with fresh towels and washcloths. The shower was strong and provided all the hot water you could want. Breakfast was good. Simple and well stocked. The sitting area outside in the back nice secluded and quiet. With plenty of seats and tables.
