Lake Placid Inn: Residences

The room welcomes you with the scent of wood. Kitchen equipments were neat and clean. TV in the bedroom was not working well but that did not matter at all. Location is perfect - Hannaford and laundromat is across the street, and Main Street is just few minutes away. Parking is right in front of your door - which matters especially when you have plenty of snowfall. Will definitely come back when we visit Lake Placid again.

We stayed at the inns this past weekend. We plugged the address given to us by our confirmation email into the GPS. I had read in other reviews something about key pickup for units not in same place as the actual units so when we arrived and there was no check in area I simply called number on confirmation number and asked where I was picking up key. |You need to go to 821 Mirror Lake Drive to pickup your key then go to actual units on 2050 Saranac Ave. Not a huge deal but I would think they would include this info in the confirmation email to avoid the extra stop at the units then going to actual check in then back to units. We were not only ones who did this as another couple was checking in at same time and we saw then at the inns then at check in then back at the inns again. Once agai

Going to the lake placid inn boutique hotel to check in was a bit inconvenient but was an easy 5 minute drive into the village. Upon entering the room we determined the bathroom sink drain would not drain. The staff was more than attentive and addressed the repair promptly. The room was ample in size, clean and easily accessible. Would definitely stay here again.

We had to go to Lake Placid for my grandson‘s hockey tournament and decided to have our Thanksgiving family dinner there. The rooms were very accommodating. The place was very clean and definitely located in a good spot. The reason I only gave it four stars is because the lighting is terrible and it could use a mirror in the bedrooms for when you’re getting dressed and for a place that size a washer and dryer maybe, just small things. It was our second time staying here So I guess those things weren’t enough to keep us away.

The property was wonderful! The amenities and interior and overall space was wonderful! Would definitely plan to stay again. The only disappointing moment for us was the check in lady when we reached late Sunday night. She was one of the rudest my husband encountered. We tried asking some questions as the check in address and residence address are different and all we could get was Yes and No and were you not already aware that you are staying at different place? then she straight away asked him do you or do you not wanna check in? If not, you have to deal with Expedia for refund. By that time we didn't knew how the other property would be and with 2 small kids and about 6 hours drive, we were just tired. Another factor that was little frustrating was no extra blankets and no one on site
