La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Phoenix West / Glendale

I've stayed with La Quinta before and have had great experiences. This stay was almost perfect. One morning I asked the front desk to please send housekeeping to the room for fresh towels and to vacuum a small spill. I left for the day and came home that evening exhausted... and to find that no housekeeping had been done to the room. I went to the front desk to ask about this. They handed me a fresh stack of towels to carry back to my room. They also gave me a vacuum cleaner to clean my own room. I've never been in a hotel that made guests clean up their own room like this. The breakfasts were standard hotel breakfasts: scrambled eggs, sausage, translucent bacon, bagels... the waffles were really good.

I came to this hotel after a bad experience at another hotel (not a laquinta!). Last minute they were able to give me 5 nights and a safe, clean room. Staff was great to work with and I had everything I needed. I had some issues that were no fault of laquintas and I called them today and they were so incredibly helpful. I am going to be traveling to Arizona more often and I am making this my hotel from now on due to the amazing service, helping me with issues that they did not cause and giving me a clean, safe room. I'm beyond thankful. You all got a loyal customer for many, many years now. See you all soon!

My stay was great. The beds were comfortable and property was clean. Staff was great except for the lady that checked us in. She seemed to be under the influence of alcohol, as that what it smelt like during check in. I was introduced to two wonderful ladies that assisted me with extra towels and escorting me to my room and informed me of the amenities the hotel did have to offer. Please let Claudia the lady that brought me additional towels I said hi and thank you as well as the cleaning lady Renee (not sure if name is spelt right) that assisted me to my room explaining amenities you had to offer. The entire property from the parking lot to rooms was spotless. My only complaint and the reason I gave 4 stars is there is no wheelchair access/ramp outside anywhere but in the front where you first walk into the hotel. Also, when I first checked in I didn't get an ADA room but when I spoke to the associate at the front desk, I wish I could remember their name, they immediately moved me to an ADA room where I could easily move the wheelchair around. Overall I am very satisfied with my stay and I highly recommend staying there.

The service I received from the front desk wax phenomenal! Brandy on the night shift was very helpful in making I was safe. Tony and Jack also gave superb customer service. If an outstanding award could be given, this trio would have to share it. I'm very thankful for the opportunity of lodging amongst great team
