Spotless, fresh smelling rooms due to no carpeting. Pets are allowed for an additional fee. Their breakfast has just about everything you'd want, and there are handy microwavable food, snacks, a large assortment of beverages, a great selection of ice cream, as well as a few pharmacy items like aspirin and some other things. You can pick what you want and have it charged to your room. The reception desk doesn't discriminate and I appreciated that. From talking to the employees, they have all worked here for a while and are keen on keeping the lobby area clean and attractive. Special mention to Joel, Skim, and Chuck. They've been very helpful! Great location to festival grounds at wild horse pass. Great front desk staff. Super helpful when key card was not working at midnight and ended up being the card itself. Simple and easy breakfast. Nice beds and comfortable room. Our temperature control unit did not work and room was stuffy-feeling by morning but not a deal-breaker for us in December. We reserved two queens but size was more like a twin/double which was a little on the small side for two adults. Would stay again!

Be wary about choosing to stay here & for sure don't book on Booking.com. I have had a terrible experience with both the staff- the manager was too busy with paperwork to take my phone call and then never bothered to return my phone call even though that was promised by the front desk. The bottom line is that they have no compassion for a traveler! I have spent a huge amount of time being passed back and forth between Booking.com and the LaQuinta Phoenix Candler with no satisfactory resolution. Our stay was pleasant for the most part, however there were a couple things that could have been better. Some of the buttons on our remote to the TV didn't work, making it difficult to change the channels. The TV itself would become frozen at times. The breakfast was the same every morning but it wasnt a bad breakfast. The backdoor hardly worked with our key cards. We found out later that for some reason the back door locking mechanism just completely stopped working and people were able to come in freely by simply opening the door. Lastly, the unpicked up dog poop was a bit disgusting and unprofessional.
