Comfort Inn Metro Airport

Comfortable room, very clean. Friendly staff, and helpful. Love that I can leave my car there. Restaurant has great food at a reasonable price. The curtains in my room were ripped, but I am sure they will be updated in the near future.

We have had this room a couple times when traveling. This time was the longest time we stayed 3 nights. We had the jacuzzi suite, when we first checked in, our first room the tub was dirty, and the guy at the front desk had a bit of an attitude because we didn’t check it as soon as we walked in. Then we switched rooms and the stopper to the tub did not work, I let the front desk know and he just didn’t seem to care. Our tv was completely out for a day and half however, when I spoke with the nice lady manger she was extremely helpful and she did make it right! We do understand that things happen so we were happy she offered to make it right. I had a terrible experience. When checking in September 27th the desk clerk Adrian said my reservation was for September 28th, but I had email confirmation from Park, Sleep and Ride for the 27th. He said they were full and actually oversold by one room. I insisted they had to give me a room, I had a reservation and traveled 17 hours across seven time zones that day, and needed a place to sleep for the night before driving home four hours the next day. The other desk clerk Ariana was texting back and forth with Melissa the manager, at one point I asked they call her as after sending a text they both would watch the phone waiting for her eventual response. The rooms are very dirty and run down, to the point of it being revolting. Easily the nastiest room I have ever stayed in. We called the shuttle for airport pick-up and it took over 30 minutes. Which might not sound bad to some, but it was 10 degrees outside. When we called back to check on it's status, the front desk said they are busy and left it at that. She all but hung up on me. I'm writing this review as my nose is about to fall off and my fingers can barely function from the cold. If there isn't an update on how long the shuttle took, it is because I died of hypothermia. Why not wait inside the airport you ask? Because she said we must have missed it and weren't waiting outside. False. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere better. I don't sleep well away from home even in the nicest hotels. I slept so well here. The sheets were so soft and the pillows were perfect. The rate was a great value. There were a couple problems in the bathroom. The toilet wasn't flushing properly. It would always spit back up a bit of toilet paper. And the shower curtain rod was curved so that the curtain wouldn't extend to the ends. It stayed in the middle and then water from the shower goes everywhere. I appreciated the hot breakfast and the availability of food in the evening should one need it.
