If I could give 0 stars, I would! This place is disgusting!! The lobby area is falling apart, and smells bad. There’s NO ELEVATOR FOR A 2 FLOOR HOTEL!! Oh, but don’t fret, after lugging your crap up the stairs, they do provide a luggage dolly on the second floor. You’re welcome, I guess? Constant issues with the room keys not working because if they get too close to your phones, they stop working. The rooms are gross and smells bad. There was black hair on the shower walls long before we stepped in. Speaking of shower, there was soft spot IN THE SHOWER. You literally can feel the walls of the shower flex like there’s nothing behind the plastic wall. The shower head sprays and your whole bathroom becomes a pool, which they don’t have. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Its dirty, run down, and just gross. I was hit on my several male guests. One tried to follow me to my room. I asked to have my room moved near to the front desk to I could call for help if needed. It was too late for me to not stay there that one night. I cancelled my future reservation there. I noticed lots of black mold in the lobby by the window and parts of the wall was peeling off. The wall paper in my room was peeling off the wall. The carpet was buckling and dirty looking. The entire place should be torn down. Its not worth renovating.

I stayed at La Quinta for two nights and three days, and honestly it was such a good experience. The staff was amazing — super friendly, helpful, and just overall good people. Every interaction felt genuine, and that made the stay feel even better. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into after long days. For the price, the value was definitely there. I’d absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

Positive: The only thing I liked about this hotel is that it's located very close to the airport (MSP). Another thing I liked about this hotel is the shower water pressure. I was surprised to see it. Everything else about this hotel is just plain terrible. Negative: There were so many things that I did not like about this hotel. Old hotel. It has not been updated since the 90s. During my stay, the ceiling was peeling. The curtain had a huge water stain on it. The carpet was old and worn out. dirty hallway.

At check in they didn't have my 2 night reservation even though I received 2 confirmation notices. The room had broken shelves, stains on the walls and carpet. The toilet seat was broken and the sink plug didn't work. There were two towels and one washcloth. The hot breakfast consisted of bread, bagels and cold cereal. One of the room plugs has something weird sticking out as if someones phone charger fell apart. Hotel puts a $100 hold on your card for damages and charges $50 for any missing items. Although my rate was $60 I won't be surprised if there's an extra charge of $150. This hotel is in really bad shape and needs better management and an upgrade. The only reason we stayed is that it was close to a family member on hospice and there was a snow storm.
