Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo - A Caesars Rewards Destination

Good customer service from the cashiers at the casino as well as security at the front door. They had great personalities and were very welcoming. The machines are very low payout. Very very rarely do you win anywhere near what you bet and it's even more rare that you win your bet back or even more. The machines are very low RTP at about 86% on average, and it took no time at all to lose all $400 I walked in there to play with. The casino itself is beautiful, smells good, and has a beautiful bar and pretty decent restaurants. They have truck parking which is nice. I understand losing when you gamble is a risk you take, and almost always, the house wins, but it would be nice if the RTP was higher where the player at least FELT like they might have an edge.

Positive: The restaurants were great, the room was large, but the price was only fair, not great. Negative: The entire hotel was thick with the strong smell of smoke. The towels were stiff and crunchy like they were air dried without softener. There were no outlets beside the bed or by the TV, only one across the room by the window.

My family was driving a 5 1/2 hr trip home that turned into an 8 hour trip due to the Snowmageddon of 2025. We called to see if they had availability and they thankfully did and at a great price!! We were so relieved to stop for the night. The little shop was already closed for night but the front desk was able to get us bottles of water at no charge. Check in was very fast! The room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. My son won some money at the casino and we ate at the Brew Brothers restaurant and it was very good food and service. We checked out the next day and got all the way home and then I realized we had left all of our coats in the closet. (Yeah we dont wear coats often but had them with because of the winter storm just incase.) We l

We took advantage of 2 free nights at the Isle Casino in Waterloo this past weekend. All in all it was an OK experience. Staff was friendly, clean facility, good food at The Brew Brothers Restaurant. The casino is small and many of the games are OLD! Not many of the new games, which is fine, but some of the old ones should be retired! Since we were there for the Super Bowl, we anticipated a fun vibe for the game. That was not the case, it was actually pretty dead! The Sports Book was TINY, so we sat at the bar, which had less than 10 people at it, and we had to literally walk around the bar to find the one bartender to ask for a drink. Service there was very poor!!! We even flagged down a cocktail waitress, WHILE SITTING AT THE BAR! she was less than pleased, but helped us. Would

A snowstorm brought us in. It was a nice place to seek refuge at a decent price. Spacious king size room with a beautiful stone shower. The food at the cafe was delicious (we had pepperoni personal pizzas). No gambling for us on this trip. It was cool to have a casino backdrop though. It lives up to the Caesar standard
