Baymont by Wyndham Waterloo

I have stayed here probably a dozen times. It is always consistently clean, spacious and economical. Friendly, helpful staff and beds are comfortable. Pool is clean and well kept. Breakfast is minimal but well maintained. This place is great value for the cost.

I made a reservation for my daughter-in-law and her 2 small children because her furnace went out on that very cold Sunday. I spoke with a woman who answered the phone Baymont Waterloo. I explained the situation, gave her my credit card and told her that my daughter in law would not have the card present at checkin but I was paying for the room She assured me that would be ok. Emailed me a confirmation number. When my daughter-in-law got there the man would not let her check in without the card present. I tried speaking with him on the phone. His accent was very thick and I apologized that I was having difficulty understanding him. He didn't care. He actually hung up on me. He wasn't going to check her in. So I drove across town with my credit card and the man said he was the manager and

We were traveling through Iowa and needed place to rest for the night. I picked this hotel due to the reviews and price. We were not disappointed! The staff were very friendly and attentive to my needs upon arrival. The room was clean and the bed ultra comfortable. The sheets were softer than mine at home. The breakfast was waffles eggs and sausage and great coffee. Folgers. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!

Positive: It was Newly or recently updated and clean. Negative: My only thought was that it could use a extra mirror with light.

We've have bad experiences at budget priced hotels but we decided to try this because of the positive ratings. We were very impressed with how clean and well kept the hotel and room was. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!
