InTown Suites Extended Stay Norfolk VA

DO NOT COME HERE! Roaches everywhere, rude staff, smells like cigarettes. -I was checked out of my room with no notice and my key card was deactivated(I worked 8am-8pm, just to come back and not be able to get into my room) -Housekeeping left my door open after cleaning it for several hours -Contacted Corporate to get insight on how to renew my staff after if was forcibly ended, and they were extremely unhelpful, and told me to go the front desk(which I did, twice, prior to even contacting corporate) Despite all of this they demand payment on time and refuse to fix anything. If you wish to suffer and then be gaslit about your situation, then this is the place for you.

The rooms are dirty and smell bad. When we checked in our room looked as if someone had been living there for a while. There was clothes on the bed and floor. There was a stick of butter on the stove and personal items in the bathroom. They gave us another room that wasn't to much better. Every time the people in the next would use their bathroom sink it sound like a construction site. Our bathroom was dirty and so was the refrigerator. There is a Walmart about 2 minutes away. I had to buy cleaning products for the bathroom, towels and wash clothes. I even brought a blanket because I didn't feel comfortable laying on the sheets. My experience with this location was nothing short of an absolute nightmare. I have never encountered a hotel staff more rude and unwilling to help. The manager, Janelle, was the EPITOME of unprofessional and her entire demeaner, even from the initial greeting, was so detached and void of any true care. I was charged a no-show fee when I called the property multiple times the day of my reservation as well as had Priceline try and call over multiple times as well, and we got no one on the phone. Finally, the Priceline rep sent 2 emails to the property that still haven't received a response...more than likely werent even read. Do not stay here. This place is filthy, has roaches and the noise levels and disrespect of other tenants is unbearable. Smell of weed constantly in the hallway. Lied to us about # of beds in the room had to purchase a second room after arriving. Booked both rooms for 30 days. Could only stand it there for 11 days. This place is very disappointing. For my 1 week stay, they only give you 1 toilet paper, no soap or shampoo. There is a full fridge and a stove in the kitchen but no pans, eating utensils, plates, glasses, no dish washing soap, NOTHING! I had to wash the only 1 towel they provided and the sheets, and had to sweep my room. I would not stay there again. The only thing I liked is the night manager, she's helpful.
