Hyatt Place Sacramento International Airport

I would not stay here. One star is too much for this place. This place is not about customer service, they are about money. Our flight was canceled and I called the hotel to let them know, not only did they not cancel the hotel that night but they charged me for a full night then canceled my entire reservation. We flew in the next day and the Manager would not even talk with us. This place for customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Stay clear, there are other nicer hotels, nicer people and better managers in the area.

Accidentally booked a day early. No refund. Had to pay almost double what I originally booked for (on a Tuesday evening literally last week). Zero water pressure in the shower. Hamburger was dry and gamey at the restaurant/bar in the hotel. Overall pretty dissatisfied. I feel like something should have been comped for my experience. I gave feedback to the front desk. And the response was "oh sorry to hear that." Oh and no microwave in the room and baseboard was missing by our door so we could see the light from the hall all night! 😳

This hotel was in a convenient location, close to where my family lives, close to stores and restaurants, and close to the airport.||Our room was comfortable and spacious, which worked out well for our family of three. ||There were a couple of things that were strange about this Hyatt Place though, so it didn’t meet the standards we had seen at other Hyatt Place locations. Breakfast was not included. This seemed strange to us since all the other Hyatt Place hotels we’ve stayed at include breakfast. Another strange thing was that the bathroom had a light on a timer so whenever I was in the shower, the light would turn off and I would have to finish my shower in the dark. This was frustrating. This hotel was great. Very clean, spacious room, friendly helpful staff. It’s 15 mins from the airport and offers a free transfer which was amazing and Omar, my driver, was wonderful, we had a lovely chat. Breakfast is early, stops at 9am so watch for that. But there are loads of restaurants, and a Sprouts just 10 mins up here road. I would definitely stay here again if I’m passing through Sacramento

I am leaving this review to warn other families and travelers. I booked a one-night stay at Hyatt Place Sacramento Airport through Chase Travel for December 27–28, 2025. I was traveling from Miami, which includes a 3-hour time difference, a 6-hour flight, a flight delay, and heavy holiday airport traffic. I was also traveling with my wife and my two young daughters (ages 3 and 7). When we finally arrived at the hotel shortly after midnight—directly from the airport and rental car pickup—the front desk clerk, Mohammed, informed me that my room had been cancelled as a “no-show” because I arrived outside their “assigned window.” Despite clearly explaining the flight delay, holiday travel conditions, and the fact that I was traveling with small children, management showed zero flexibility,
