Hyatt Place Phoenix-North

Positive: Staff was AMAZING!! They bent over backwards to accommodate our preferences. Rooms need a refresh and this hotel is in that process (3rd floor was creepy with all the doors off, the rooms mostly empty, and plastic covering the carpet when I went for ice). Negative: Looking forward to the refresh.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Ongoing Issues Ignored This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I've ever had. After the first night, my friends and I woke up covered in bug bites. We reported the issue, and while the staff did move us to another room on the third floor, the same thing happened again on our final night—more bug bites, more frustration. I reported this to the front desk before checking out. The staff member I spoke with seemed unsure of how to help and simply gave me a phone number to contact the manager. I called, only to be told the manager was unavailable, but that someone would reach out to me shortly. That never happened. When I followed up with Hyatt corporate, I was told the hotel had noted that pest control had been brought in and found "nothing." At

This hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and while it may not be fully up-to-date yet, the outstanding staff and warm, family-like atmosphere more than made up for it. From the moment we walked in, Kyle was incredibly helpful—he checked us in, clearly explained everything from food options to parking, room details, and the hotel’s amenities.||||During our stay, we also had the pleasure of meeting Keith. He was just as wonderful, offering great recommendations for nearby places to eat and helpful tips for getting to and from State Farm Stadium without any issues.||||The staff truly made our stay exceptional. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, especially if you’re in town for a football game.

Room: Dirty carpet. Leaking faucet. Loud air conditioning. Breakfast: ran out of scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, even orange juice. When queries, the front desk responded -- this is complementary breakfast. You get what we give you.

They have a sign to excuse the mess when you enter the hotel. And it is a mess, but it turns out they've been "renovating" for 2 years and still haven't done anything. It's obvious that they've stopped maintenance in this place. As a result, it's showing its age. They've out some money in the lobby so you'll check.in because you'd reconsider if the lobby looked like the rooms. Miss staying a cheap motels with the temp controls on the window unit? You can still have that here! Worn down, torn, stained stuff? Absolutely. No light at the desk in the room, the desk chair is just dead from overuse.
