Hyatt Place Herndon/Dulles Airport-East

Front desk ladies Nighia and Iris were young very professional at their jobs. Manager seemed intimidating to them as I saw but both were doing great jobs as front desk clerk. I had to identify them for the politeness and professionalism. Rooms were designed kind crazy with washing room outside of bathroom. Breakfast was not even on part of an alleged 3 star hotel but rather 2 star breakfast. One of the elevators was broken my whole 5 day stay. This hotel should be downgraded to a 2.5 star.

Elevator access to rooms on each floor from inside of the building. No access to your room from the outside is always what makes it better. The only issue I had was being charged $4 for a bottle of water but the $4 on the cookie 🍪 tasted excellent. Other than that they had a robust continental👨‍🍳 breakfast which was pretty good each morning. They offered shuttle🚐 bus service staff too and from the🛬 airport and the front desk staff accommodated one of my requests. The rooms were nice, clean and organized and pretty big for the price. Perfect stay! No complaints. Rooms were clean|| Front desk staff was nice. Cleaning staff was kind and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Overall,I was very pleased with everything. There is a $15 parking fee, but I will still give the hotel 5 stars because my experience was great

Driving for 12+ hours on a business trip just to find out we couldn’t check into our rooms for 2 hours, until 1pm, was a disappointment. Then we had to pay to park, and pay a deposit, which cost half as much as the room itself. And when I finally got to my room, I was hardly impressed with the non-working lamp by the bed. Hopefully breakfast is better than other reviews suggest, that might just be the only thing worth looking forward to when staying here. There’s a pool and fitness center, but I don’t know the status of those yet

One of the elevators was broken and the stairs would not go to first floor. The host, gave us a the wrong room first, than literally "force persuaded" us but in polite way to move to our original room. We stayed there one night before our flight from Dulles, so that was no big deal.One more thing about the parking jurisdictions. So, there's a shared parking lot around the hotel, shared by two other facilities. They show you a map, which does not match the signs in the parking lot. So, be careful which one to follow and always confirm with the hotel host.
