Hyatt House Mall of America / MSP Airport

A pleasant stay, our floor was quiet, which was important for us. The breakfast was above average compared to toher hotels, however, I did not notice the option to get coffee of tea in the lobby, which I would welcome. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the airport, which is great, but the shuttle was late when driving us to the airport and seemed to not be aware of our order request when he arrived. I appreciated the gym was open 24/7.

Nice quite property, especially for an extended stay. The room is well furnished with thought out convince features. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and utensils, and includes a range, microwave, convection oven, and even a dishwasher to make cleanup easy. My only wish is that the refrigerator was bigger, but it does have a dedicated freezer compartment which is more useful than a standard hotel mini-fridge. The TV is set up to allow you to easily stream your own apps without having to sign into to a new device. I found this particularly nice because I don't like putting my account information on shared equipment, and I can use my dedicated sports streaming services which aren't usually available. Amazing hotel with a perfect location and wonderful staff! I’m writing this review because I truly feel blessed. We had such a lovely stay here. The hotel has an excellent location right next to the wildlife park, and we had a beautiful view overlooking it. Very quiet and peaceful. It’s also close to the mall and just a 15-minute drive to the ski area. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. They create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable — almost brand new — and equipped with a kitchen. My two kids and I had a blast. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to others!

The location is fine, but this is easily the worst Hyatt we’ve ever stayed at. Be sure to not get a connecting room unless you want to hear every word said in the next room. Also hope the people next to you don’t decide to play Kpop Demon Hunters music on repeat full blast at midnight because the hotel will do nothing in response. Breakfast has no seasoning and ran out quickly. We go to the cities for weekend trips somewhat frequently and will never stay here again.

I wish I could give a longer review, but unfortunately, less than 30 minutes after checking in with my husband and 8 month old baby, we saw a mouse in our room. We went to check out immediately, and the front desk staff asked us if we would like to change rooms. We declined and told her that we'd like to cancel our reservation. She let us know that we would still be charged for one night, and that she couldn't provide a receipt because we hadn't been there long enough. This is truly disheartening, as we were really excited for our family visit to Mall of America. Now we have to scurry (similar to the furry fellow in the hotel room) to find another hotel. If we wanted to play with mice, we would have gone to Disney to hang with Mickey and Minnie.
