Hilton Garden Inn North Phoenix Scottsdale

After traveling for 12.5 hours, it was not fun to get a room right next to the gym and have dropped weights wake you up at 0500. Then to transfer rooms and get stuck with an adjoining door. Those "neighbors" started talking at 0500 and they are, literally, right next to your bed. The shower floor and drain looked like athlete's foot. Management could care less. Could have been a nice stay but at $300 a night....go somewhere else.

Front service was great But bar service was horrible

The best attribute of this Hilton Garden Inn is its location. Located right off of highway 202 and within walking distance of a very nice outdoor mall the location is great. The mall contains a buffet of restaurants and stores to choose from. The overall neighborhood has an upscale feel to it. The hotel is nice. The lobby, decor, and amenities are modern. Our room was good however it's starting to show minor signs of age. For example our wallpaper was peeling at various locations throughout the room. The room itself was clean and everything worked perfectly. The bathroom had a bright modern design, except the piping underneath the sink is exposed. I would definitely stay here again if the need was to arrive again.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY. First of all, you have to pay for parking (which makes no sense given it's a fairly private parking lot). Apart from that, the room smells weird, you have to pay $3 for $1 water bottles in the room, and there's NO breakfast. What kind of hotel makes you pay $325 for one night and NOT provide breakfast. Not even some muffins. SECOND and most importantly, one of the towels that was hung in the shower had yellowish crusty liquid on it that smelled.. reminiscent of human bodily fluids. If you catch my drift. The part that was facing the interior of the shower was the part that was dirty. So that means either the towels weren't checked, or the housekeeper folded it and set it there without caring that it was dirty. Imagine if i was visually impaired or something and i put t

This hotel is 30 minutes from the airport. The rooms were beautiful, better than expected, but on our second day, we came back to a horrible sewer smell in the room. The staff was very friendly but didn't act like it was a surprise at all. The city was contacted and found several sewer grates were loose on the site. We changed rooms in a hurry and forgot a set of expensive headphones in the bustle. We notified staff and they sent a maintenance man to look in the previous room, ask housekeeping, and lost&found. They were never found. On our final night we went to bed early, only to wake to a hotel-wide fire alarm. Thankfully it was handled within a few minutes and we were able to return to bed. This hotel started out a 5 star experience and unfortunately ended in a 2 star review. I've had b
