I have been a guest here many times in the past and the front desk seems bothered every time we interact. I shrugged that off because of the convenience of the location for me. But recently, I had to cancel a reservation last minute due to a family emergency (son in the ER). I simply just wanted to make sure it was cancelled properly, was no even requesting my money back. I did book through a third party so I contacted them and the location. The third party did say they needed the hotel to respond back to them in order to take care of the cancellation. Two days later, the third party said they still have not received a response from the hotel and encouraged me to call. I called and the woman at the front desk was already quite annoyed upon answering the phone. I explained the situation and

We had a lovely stay just outside of D.C., perfect to beat the traffic in the morning. The room was spacious, clean, and updated. We appreciate the kind service of the staff. Complementary breakfast was a delight with your standard array of options. This Hampton has all the old world feel with all the modern updates and amenities

Decent place to stay thats close to DC. Easy to access off the highway. Rooms were clean. However, there was what appeared to be homeless people outside during the day. Also..parking is not free (fraudulent advertising) though it is only a nominal fee.
