This place is nuts! We had a blast with our 4 and 1.5 year olds, but beware, this place is constant stimulation, temptation, and expense. The water park is cool, but they should get rid of the broken surf attraction and add some large hot tubs. Everything is expensive - food overpriced and low quality, any drink at the bar is $13+, parking is $20/day above hotel rate, every extra activity costs money. But they do offer some free activities like story time in the lobby and a small arts and crafts session. Bowling is mini string bowling - nice for small kids. Bars dont open until 4 (except for the pool one). Our queen cabin suite was cool - its a regular size hotel room with a little kid room built in the middle where the 2nd bed would usually go. It has no door! They should add a
We love visiting the Great Wolf Lodge during the cold winter months! There is something for everyone to do. The waterpark is always clean and warm. When my kids were younger they enjoyed the water playground. Now that they are pre-teens, they enjoy the fast waterslides and and the surfing simulator. The waterpark is included with your stay. There are lots of other activities to enjoy but they cost extra money. My kids really like the arcade and the MagiQuest game. Each room comes with a mini fridge and a microwave. Late night snacks can be hard to find so bring your own. There is one sit-down restaurant on site that has good burgers and a breakfast buffet, but is a little costly. There is also a coffee shop, pizza cafe, and ice cream cafe on site. Throughout the day, there are many free a
Flow Rider is permanently closed!! (Main reason for going) Lazy river is crowded and super shallow. It says 3 feed but that's being generous. Even for the kiddo it was too shallow and a nightmare for adults. -Yellow tube ride is fun -Non-tube body slides really hurts the back. -Family tube ride very fun but wait is 10 to 20 minutes. Food - Way overpriced! Not just a little bit insane. If you like to have a beer or 3 just bring your own. Bush Light was $9.25 and a tap beer and a mixy was $35. Pizza is solid and garlic cheese bread is good. Rooms - Bring your own pillow haha no joke!! These are the smallest pillows ever! Room said queen bed but there was no chance. The size of the blankets also matched the pillow being teeny tiny 😂 Magic Game and Arcade - These follow the main theme of
Positive: The cleanliness of the hotel. The quality of the bed in the room. The friendliness of the staff. The location is excellent. Negative: The hotel is really starting to show its age. The sink in our room would not drain as you used it. Only by not using the sink all night would it drain. A minor issue but one that should not be occurring in a hotel of this stature.
We took our daughter and few friends for their first time including ours and the minute you walked in there was people to help you and assist you! The check in process was smooth and the staff were very helpful. They have a few different on site places to eat, in different places which is nice so it's not all together, I'm not sure prices but the hotel does offer packages, like an $100 for $70 or $80 but we ordered pizza from an outside vendor to save cost, (free G.C) and packed snacks & beverages. the rooms have a fridge and microwave which is awesome! We had the room w the bunk beds and we had plenty of room for 3 kids and 2 adults! Only thing to mention is the hotel.room should have more hooks to hang up your swim suit in the bathroom, it only has the towel rack plus the hoo
