Grand Adirondack Hotel, Lake Placid, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

This is a fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Lake Placid on Main Street. You can use the valet service to keep your car safe while you walk around Main Street. We loved the chicken nachos at Marcy Bar and the maple cream oatmeal at breakfast. There were some hockey teams staying here but the hotel gave them private space so it was quiet and perfect for all the guests. We didn’t hear any noise after 9 pm. We have stayed here multiple times and the workers are always the best. Exceptional service and care in a beautiful setting. Be sure to walk the 2.7 mile loop around mirror lake! There are sidewalks the whole way and it’s beautiful year round.

Positive: The location was good if you wanted access to Main Street places and the Olympic Centef Negative: The room location was terrible it overlooked the parking lot and the roof of another building. The room was pretty sterile and there was no outdoor space to enjoy the beauty of the location. I was so disappointed.

I loved it here. Great hotel and staff. Nice bar and restruant. Lounge areas are nice as well. Quick walk to the ice rinks. Located in the center of everything I wanted to do.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Staff at the front desk went above and beyond for us. There was a mistake that caused our room to not be ready on time, and we were given free breakfast over what felt like only 10 minutes of delay. At breakfast we ordered a couple dollars more than what the vouchers were good for and they comped the balance. Very generous, kind, and attentive. The rooms were also beautiful and the view of the lake was stunning! Location was fantastic for shopping and mozying around Lake Placid. While parking is extra, this was clearly stated when I paid for the room so it wasn’t a surprise to me when I got there.

Great location! The rooms are really hot. The windows don’t open. I I know it’s winter, but they disabled the air-conditioning. I can’t sleep when it’s 77. I tried calling the front desk and no one answered after 10 minutes.
