Friendship Inn

If you'd like a nice slice of nostalgia please check on into the Friendship Inn. The name says it all. The Inn is done in mid century modern decor including the rooms. The entire place was clean, bug free and as neat as a pin inside and out. The staff go above and beyond. Literally... Amanda was able to get us in an hour early and when I couldn't figure out my key (an actual key!) she walked down and helped me out. The next evening the other evening clerk offered to walk down the wifi code to my room when I lost it, since I had had a bad day and was too tired to walk up to get it. Now that is above and beyond. There is a 24 hour McDonald's next door and the room freezer was so cold it kept my bag of ice frozen for 3 days. Friendship Inn is my new go to place when visiting Phoenix.

John, the manager is amazing! And every employee that works , there is amazing. THEY ARE VERY CLEAN AND VERY HONEST PEOPLE.I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE

Overall was a good evening, the remote we were given didn't work the tv, but there were manual buttons so it was not too inconvenient. The room was quaint and clean. On a Friday night I was anticipating a lot of noise, but it was very comfortable. The linens were fresh and clean. The bedspread was recently stained but not washed. (I remove it first everywhere I go.) The young man working the check-in desk didn't assume we needed a first floor room even though I have a wheelchair. I should have mentioned it, I guess. Only took a few moments to switch. Upon checkout we were not given our deposit back, I assume it was because it was 11:05 and not 11:00. Se la vie, our next visit we will be more prompt. Overall, for the money spent, enjoyable!

Very respectable location and great price comparatively. Cheaper than even the Econolodge or similar hotels, but without the extra guests, aka bedbugs and roaches. Towels were fresh and clean. The bedspread was recently stained and not washed, but we never keep them on anyway. Slight oversight of accommodations at check in with a simple correction. No refund or discussion of deposit at check out, I assume it must have been a few minutes past the 11am schedule. Very quiet, not at all what I was expecting from the reviews. We will definitely stay again.

This place was absolutely fantastic. A friend and I came to visit phoenix, never been before and don’t know where to stay so the first night we stayed we actually stayed in the deep depths of what i imagine hell to be. What a joy it was to find this treasure of s motel. For rates about a third of what all the hotels were that weekend was worth way more than that. The staff was friendly and helpful, the cleaning lady did a thorough job. It’s an older hotel and gonna have older fixtures and appliances but for what we needed it was absolutely perfect. Stay at this motel whenever you’re in phoenix , you will not regret it.
