Florence Inn and Suites

I had such a great stay here! From the moment I checked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. You can tell they really care about their guests. Overall, it was an easy, relaxing experience, and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Worst stay ever!!! My mom and I were originally set to stay at this property for a month while awaiting the closing on our home but after the way we were mistreated and harassed we left early and are going to another hotel with better service. For starters the housekeeper tried to walk in the room on us while we were in our night clothes. We booked for 5 days and she was at our door opening it the very next morning saying we haven’t checked out yet. We informed her we are an over stay and she startled us. That’s where the problem first started. Since she didn’t like us telling her she needed to knock before she entered a guest room she showed nothing but attitude our entire stay. I asked her for a broom to clean the room and she said she didn’t have one, I asked her how does she clean the

Positive: Good mattress on the bed. Negative: The room was supposed to have a couch and work area and had nothing except a bed. Not even a small in room coffee maker or anything of that nature. I also killed two roaches running across the floor.

We booked at the Florence Inn and Suites to go to the Darlington race back in September. We booked 2 rooms and when we checked in both rooms were not fit to stay in. In Our room the ceiling had recently fell in and the sheetrock had just been put up and look like it was gonna come right back down and the room was nasty. Looked like someone had been peeing on the wall, flloors were tasty and the bathroom was really dirty and smelled really bad. The other room had water pooled in the floor and the smell would gag you. We went to the office to let them know how bad the rooms were and Sanjay the manager went and checked the rooms and apologized and said they over booked and didn’t have anything else so he cancelled our bookings and said to contact booking. Quiet, cheap, bed was nice and thankfully clean. That being said, holy cannoli my room was *dirty* and in desperate need of a facelift. Inspect your room before sleeping and decide what you’re comfortable with before you decide to settle.
