Extended Stay America Suites- Phoenix - Biltmore

Really great location with a lot of walkable stuff to check out around the hotel. Super helpful having the kitchen space for a longer stay. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Lots of noise off of the streets the property faces so request a room facing the parking lot. For the life of me I don’t understand why people have to slam doors when they leave a hotel room. Simply close it and make sure it’s locked behind you. Just maybe there is someone in the room next door or across the hall trying to relax or sleep.

Positive: Location Negative: No hot water for shower. Laundry machines not working properly. Unable to walk around bed due to furniture. Breakfast bar was your choice of packaged muffin, granola bar, or instant oatmeal. No seating for breakfast.

I booked a room through Priceline in this hotel. When I checked in, I noticed the outlets in the room were not working, so were the lights by the bed, and so was the TV. I let the clerk know about the issue, she said she would come by to check the issues. I went back to my room and waited for an hour, she didn't show up. I went back to the clerk and wanted an update, she said that they're looking for a different room. I went back to my room and waited for an hour and a half in a pitch dark room with nothing to do. Finally, I decided to book a place at a different hotel and checked out of this one. On my way out, I asked the clerk if I would get a refund. She said because I booked through third party, she isn't able to cancel the reservation and refund me. She said Priceline decides that. I

There’s a trail right behind the hotel so you can get your steps/exercise in. There’s also restaurants right down the street along with a shopping center. I solo traveled for work for about a month and a half. I walked to get food and to shop in the area. Good area for a woman solo traveling. Had a great stay, thank you! Oh, and the indigenous girl at the check-in was lovely. Please thank her for being so kind and friendly. 🩷

Gotta say, been coming here for about 3 years now..close to a relatives home. Back then I would have given it one star...but now, things have turned. Complete remodel, clean, huge rooms. Beds super nice .kinda a medium firm. Bathroom was super nice, walk in shower with tiles (room 132). Small workout room and a nice pool. It's a solid 3 star hotel, but with the price point of a double king for $90.00 it pushes it up to a 3.5 for value / money. Solid choice for a place to hang your hat if you're in the Phoenix Biltmore area
