Review for Extended Stay America at 8808 N Black Cyn Hwy This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. There was a cockroach crawling up the bathroom wall, which immediately showed how poorly this place is maintained. The bed sheets were covered in visible stains, making the room feel filthy and completely unacceptable. The atmosphere around the property was also extremely sketchy. There appeared to be prostitutes both inside and outside the building, with people constantly coming and going. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable the entire time. Between the roaches, stained bedding, and shady activity around the property, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. I will never stay here again. Ever. I had an amazing experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed. Check-in was quick and easy, and everyone I interacted with was warm, professional, and eager to help. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated the cozy bed, the quiet atmosphere, and the little details—like quality toiletries and a well-stocked coffee station—that made the stay feel extra special. I want to state clearly that I hope I do not have to stay at this hotel again. I stayed here for three weeks, and after the second week I had to repeatedly request that someone clean my room and replace my towels. I work 14-hour days, and each time I asked to exchange my towels, I was told it could only be done between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. I was not even offered the basic courtesy of a simple towel swap. The most serious issue during my stay was the roach infestation. The number of cockroaches in the room was unacceptable, as shown in the attached photos. I had to buy my own glue traps Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and far below a reasonable standard of service and cleanliness.

We arrived and check-in went nicely. The manager checked us in ... we signed all the paperwork... we went to our rooms, I had #224 we opened the doors and couldn't freaking believe it ...both rooms stunk like a dirty old ashtray... the room was run down and dirty... stuff in the bath tub... the fridge had stuff smeared in it. My friend had the rooms next to me, #226 and had to open the door and windows to get the old nasty cigarette smell out of his room ... I went downstairs to talk to the manager, I told her that people have been smoking in that rooms for awhile and that my health condition won't allow me to stay in it and the smell was already affecting me...she just looked at me and said people will people... nobody follows the rules anymore... Positive: nothing Negative: The manager and district manager were extremely rude and used profanity at me several times. I made an error and in the room but there was no reason to be spoken to the way they did. I assume you have cameras in the front desk area
