Express Inn

I stayed at Express Inn recently and I would not recommend this place to anyone. The rooms seriously need renovation. Some of the bed linens may have been washed, but many were still stained and the comforters had holes in them. The walls are stained, the furniture and appliances are very worn down, and there’s a noticeable unpleasant smell in the rooms. The bathrooms were also in bad shape, with dirty and deteriorating sealing around the shower and toilet. In some rooms there is visible mold on the walls, ceilings, and even the lamp shades. This is extremely concerning, especially for anyone with breathing issues. I actually became sick while staying here and it triggered my asthma badly. This is not a safe environment for guests, and I hope this place gets inspected and properly renova

On arrival, our room on the bottom floor smelled bad of mould and I noticed that it was coming from the sofa type chairs that are really not even required in the room. I reported this to reception and asked if they had any cleaner rooms. They moved us to a room on the second floor that was nothing special but was more modernised and did not smell of mould. Had I had this room initially I would have probably not been impressed at all but since it was a big improvement on the first room, I settled.Reception were always helpful during our 4 night stay, however this is definitely just a place to get your head down; you get what you pay for. The WiFi was ok. The beach is very close.

The guy that runs this place likes to change prices up them depending on who is asking for a room. Prices posted are only to get people to stop but then says no room at that rate even though parking lot is completely empty. Seems run down and you’re better off going to the surrounding hotels that are actually clean and professional with price clearly posted.

I am here now. My husband & I checked in last night. We left to go get dinner at 4 something. Got back and two men were in our room with the door wide openm. We had to wait outside for a few minutes while they put a mirror on the wall. The bathroom reaked. It smelled like strong pee. I literally cleaned the toilet before we left to get food, because I always do that before sitting on a toilet at hotels. The pee smell was so strong, that you could smell it as soon as you walk in the room. I guess the guys peed a lot in here, while we were at the store. I wanted to tell the front desk. However, my husband didn't want to say anything. The guys should have asked the front desk if, someone was staying in this room, before coming into the room. They saw that there were empty water bo

This place is horrible I would never come here again The microwave did not work upon arrival. We had to wait to check in after check in time because the room wasn’t clean. There was mold above the shower in our room. We was not able to get extra towels until the next day. There was four people the manager insisted on coming in our room while we were not there. And it smelt like marijuana, and they insisted that it was a non-smoking room when it definitely had an ashtray in it. It was not very clean at all. The floors were dirty, and there was hair all in the sink.
