Econo Lodge Waynesboro - Skyline Drive

Easily the most disgusting hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The entire building reeks of smoke, the floors of my room are soaking wet and sticky, the chair is broken, the sink doesn’t drain, there are stains all over the walls, the fridge is broken and makes a terrible loud noise, the floor in the bathroom is sticky, and the towels have stains on them. I am not a boujee person and usually don’t mind an inconvenience or two but this place is completely awful.

Nice location, looks to have been remodeled. Still needs some minor work (shower curtain rod, poor tub draining, no WiFi). Breakfast supplies not monitored actively. Staff was friendly and seemed concerned. I enjoyed the T.V. line-up and quiet area. I will stay there again as I have when it was under different ownership.

The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was good, the desk person was pleasant, and the breakfast was adequate. On the down side, the room had an odor that was musty with a hint of dog and smoke. It would have been a nice touch if the sliding door had a screen for allowing fresh air. The desk area was not lit; a desk lamp would have been helpful.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights and fought the urge to leave after the first nite. We were prepaid and did not want to go through the hassle. As soon as we opened the entrance door to this nonsmoking building the smell of pot almost knocked us down. It was offensive and we called the front desk to complain. While the staff was very kind nothing ever happened to make this better. There was no coffee pot in the room. I can say I never stayed at any of your products without a coffee pot in the past. When I inquired about this, I was told it was because they served breakfast! I expected to be offered a machine. Coffee is important!!! There was a roach in the room. Just one single guy, I kept turning the lights on and off to make sure it was the only one. I stayed up most of
