Econo Lodge Norfolk Airport

This is the worst place to stay. The room I had originally booked wasn’t ready, so they changed my room. The guy at the front desk said I could check the new room, and that I could change it again if i didn’t like it. The door of the bathroom was ripped off the hinges, the tv didn’t work, and worst of all, there were stains and bugs on the bed. The only way for me to discover the bugs was to lift up the mattress. When I go to change my room he says I can’t because I lifted the mattress. It was for a one night stay so I just slept in the car and hoped to use the shower in the morning. I go back to use the shower and there was roaches on the ceiling and in the tub. The only positive note I have to add is that after being denied extra sheets from the front desk guy, I asked the nice cleaning

Positive: Nothing Negative: My hotel room door was broken, room has roaches… tv not working, microwave not working.

Had some difficulties with management in the beginning. Could have been miscommunication or a language barrier. Focused on my stay. Relaxing did have laundry issues on site. I guess the workers were not available through the snow storm

I stayed at many different hotels before, including many under Choice Privilege Hotels and this is the worst hotel stay experience me and my spouse ever had and Im not exaggerating.. From the moment we entered hotel to check in, staff (2 guys) were treated us very poorly. Any question I had, i would be given a short one/two word answer and sounding condensending and upset that i said anything. We got the key and entered our room and it was nothing that I booked. To say the very least. I booked 1 King bedroom with jet tub and morning breakfast. Instead we got a two queen bedroom, with no jet tub, no breakfast either..Thats very bad, and at that point i didnt felt comfortable to complain about anything anymore to those 2 gentlemen (?) and decided not to talk about it at all. Somebody had smoked in the room recently and the cover-up failed. There was still a rag taped over the smoke detector. Our room had no towels and no toilet paper. We got two pillows as thick as a postage stamp. We saw roaches in the room. The bedding has stains. But it was cheap ish? I'd feel fine at $20 nightly but no more
