Draper's Acres Campground

What a great campground! Centrally located near all the trails. It felt very nice to not have to drive more than 10min to go hiking. The owners are super nice and are very welcoming. The only small negative from our stay was that we got a camping spot that was closer to the road so we could hear it at night. Less peaceful then we wished but the location makes up for it. The bathrooms are good just be prepared for cold showers. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

As always an amazing time in a very conveniently located spot between two awesome towns, Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. It has Wi-Fi and the showers and bathrooms are very well-kept for a small private campground in the middle of a huge forest. The owners are very friendly and they are always readily available should people need something. My favourite part is again...can't state enough how conveniently located it is. Just far enough out there where feel really in middle of Adirondack wild, but not more than 20min to either major town in the region.

Nice setting, DEFINITELY rustic, convenient location. Campsite was not easy to get in and out of...we had to angle backing in and pulling out. My friend stayed in a cabin that was filthy. The restrooms/showers were not clean.

Great value and location, very close to Lake Placid (12 min drive). The staff were phenomenal and the facilities were well kept. The sites are hidden from the main road however sometimes car noise is audible. Would absolutely return and would recommend to anyone camping, tent or camper
