DoubleTree by Hilton Lansing

What a pleasant stay! My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the service of each staff member I interacted with was fantastic. Although I wish the TV in my room was equipped with streaming capabilities, it was a large screen with good picture quality. The junior suite's sectional couch and wet bar make it feel like home, and the hotel's proximity to the Capitol and local food and entertainment was everything I needed. I'll certainly stay again, when in town!

Perfect place near lansing center downtown. Downfall is the lack of food options on site. Elevators were down for 24 hours because someone pulled the fire alarm and they are required to wait for elevator company to reset it. None of the workers told us the fire alarm was false until we went all the way to lobby and saw firefighters who were pissed they got called out for nothing. Digital key didn't work, had to go to front desk only to be told it works yet the app said I had to show ID first. Digital key didn't work on outside door of hotel so had to walk around to get into building in the snow and cold. Room was fine, water temp and pressure in shower was good. Beds are not great, husband had major back issues from it. Only one microwave in hotel and its on first floor by pool, gross. Poo

This hotel needs a remodel in the worst way. It is very outdated in regards to furniture in the rooms and the elevators were being worked on every day I was there.||Customer service leaves a LOT to be desired. On the day I was leaving they apparently were doing service on all three elevators. When I went to take the elevator to check out, it didn't work. There was nothing on the elevator stating they were out of service nor was anyone around on the floor to let anyone know. After hauling my luggage down from the 10th floor, I went to turn in my key and checkout. I asked the manager (I'm assuming) how long the elevators had been out and he said it was about an hour so far. I told him it would have been nice to have someone let the guests know. His response was we called and knocked. If they

Our first visit to the DoubleTree Lansing had some issues that left us disappointed. However, I want to specifically recognize Alana and Danielle, whose professionalism and dedication completely turned the experience around. Both managers went above and beyond to make things right. They listened to our concerns, took them seriously, and made every effort to ensure our stay afterward was comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. Their customer service was outstanding, and they genuinely cared about making sure we had a positive experience. Because of Alana and Danielle, what started off as a frustrating situation ended as a great stay. They are a true credit to this hotel and to the DoubleTree brand. We truly appreciate how hard they worked to make things right and give us a great experience.

Positive: Cleanliness Negative: Walls were thin. Had a room by the ice machine. Room next door was playing TV at 3am. Both sides kept waking me up do i had a lousy sleep.
