Decatur Hall

The housekeepers were great but it’s clear they are short staffed. The air conditioning has limits but at least it worked for the most part. The free laundry room was nice but some machines needed servicing. I saw a couple of ants on the carpet but my buddies said their rooms had tons of ants. The fridge is bigger than a mini fridge and the freezer section works. There was no phone number posted anywhere if you needed something after hours which was frustrating, I think you’d have to go over to Maury hall to see someone at the desk. The mattress was not comfortable but the linens were soft.

Not aging well. Musty. Limited temperature control. A/C only in the rooms. Hallways and elevators were hot.

Would give the rooms 5 but the AC never lasts more than an hour before blowing air and not cold air. After multiple times having the friendly maintenance over, it still won't work. The maintenance folks have their hands tied. Whoever is in charge of these buildings should stay in it until it's fixed! The staff is great and I feel bad for them working in these conditions let alone the paying customers.

Very clean. Nice rooms. Big refrigerator and a microwave. Safe in the room. Ice only on the first floor which was a little annoying. Right next to the food court on base and the big nex and food court were a short drive away.

Really clean and spacious room. Comfy bed and big mini fridge. Price was a little expensive for a military base, but benefits aren't what they used to be. Still happy
