Days Inn by Wyndham Florence/I-95 North

Room 103. Very clean and nicely remodeled. Jet tub was great but drinks a little slow. The plug needed to be looked at - handed to the maintenance man. Bed & bedding was A++++++. Great sleep. Already booked it for our next trip to Anderson! Could use some butt depo to discourage butts in the parking lot.

Positive: Only couple people in parking lot drinking all night. Negative: Room was filthy, only one towel and on washcloth for two night stay for two people, no coffee in room. Front desk person not very nice and breakfast was marginal at best.

Thee absolute worst place I have ever experienced! When we first arrived we went to check in at the front desk. The woman working the front desk was miserable, not nice or friendly at all. But that was fine, everyone has their days. She finally gave us the key cards after standing there for awhile and we head to our rooms (2 rooms for 2 couples) On our way to our rooms we noticed some shady people hanging around the building, I had a bad gut feeling but proceeded to our rooms. Once we opened the door the smell SMACKED us in the face, it was HORRIBLE!!! it smelled like someone that hadn't showered in 5 years lived there...but we continued inside... to find dirt, trash, stains, and mold on the furniture, floors, shower, inside and ourside the fridge. Our initial room had no heat but we got a new room quickly along with an apology. I have stayed in FLorence many times (on the cheap) and this is one of the better budget stays.|The room was very clean with decent linens, fridge and micro. No complaints.|Breakfast was OK. Better than many continentals but no real hot food.|Muffins, make yourself waffles, cereal, oranges bananas, coffee, whcih was very good, and hard boiled eggs, peeled and put in baggies in pairs.

Arrive at 1am only yo not go into the lobby but to be directed to a side window in the freezing cold. Then you can't even hear the person speaking through the glass so you are having to ask them to repeat themselves. Parking was tight because of big trucks in the lot and when I got to the room it was purely disgusting. Dirty floor, walls, door and smelled horrible. Let's just say i was beyond exhausted from driving 12 hours and all I wanted was a hot shower and to go to sleep and I got neither because the bed was uncomfortable as well. It's better to stay at the comfort inn across the street and pay more to have a nice and clean room. Lesson learned!
