Crowne Plaza Philadelphia - King of Prussia by IHG

Okay hotel, good location, poor quality heating. On arrival the staff were very friendly and gave me a lot of helpful advice. As an IHG Diamond member I was upgraded to a suite, which I really appreciated, and overall the suite was very decent. It had two big-screen TVs and a small kitchenette area, although there were no appliances other than a microwave and a coffee machine (no kettle). The bathroom had a shower but no bath. I also stopped by the bar for a glass of wine, which was fine, and the staff there were very kind as well. The hotel has a small gym, business facilities, and a very good location right next to King of Prussia Mall (the fourth largest mall in America), which was a big plus for me. I see a lot of mix reviews about this hotel however, I have stayed here at least 10 times in the last two years the Breakfast area is amazing. The lobby is very modern lots of convenient areas to sit and also workstations where you can have your computer. The convention area is also nice And spacious. As for customer service, everybody is extremely polite and kind and so is the housekeepers. I always stay in a two bed room in the room also has plenty of space for a nice oversized chair and ottoman next to the window. The room comes with the refrigerator, which is amazing a nice dresser. As for the bathrooms, they have everything you need lotion, hand soap next to the sink most hotels do not have hand soap and lotion connected to the wall in the shower. The staff was great and professional, and the bed was comfortable. However, I had very poor sleep due to the a/c going on and off all night, and there was no option to keep the fan on, which can mask the on & off cycles. I talked to someone in the maintenance staff, who confirmed that the customer can't control the fan. ||I was also disappointed that the location was not pedestrian-friendly, even though it looked close to the mall on the map.

Reserved room for dance competition, provided all the amenities to make my stay comfortable and staff was very accommodating. Visited the bar for moderately priced drinks and food as well (ordered the shrimp tacos). Bed was comfortable, room was clean, bathroom was top notch. Access to everything was as expected. Hotel Staff was friendly and helpful as well as had a smile on their face the whole time. Overall excellent experience will book a room here for future events.

All the pictures of the rooms are nice but actually not so updated. Bath doors that cant lock and only slides shut, beds are not so comfortable and makes sounds, room seem small with 2 queen beds, hallway are too dark seem scary. With all the negatives there are some good, very friendly staff and lobby is very cozy, comfortable, love the selections for breakfast (its free with the stay for us). the location is excellent and convenient (check the map). I dont think I will go back again unless the price is right.
