Comfort Inn I-10 West at 51st Ave

I'm not gonna lie, I have no idea how most of the reviews are good. It was an absolutely terrible location first of all. The hot tub wasn't heated. My room was clean but there was one washcloth that smelled bad and our shower head was taped. Stains were everywhere in the hotel including the rooms. The free breakfast was probably the best part of the hotel and that's sad. I witnessed the front desk at night tell a guest that the hotel was completely booked so there was no extra sheets for him if he needed them, and that he could cancel someone's reservation to get the sheets off another bed. Meaning the hotel only has enough sheets for every bed???? That's insane. Overall my stay was okay but it honestly should be illegal to have a hotel that bad.

Hotel itself wasn't bad. Clean rooms and beds. I've definitely stayed in much worse. It's not a luxury resort people. The area is a little sketchy. But no issues with my stay

I want to start this review by saying my husband and I travel all over the US, so I am by no means a hotel snob! We base our hotel stays on budget and reviews. I can honestly say I have no idea how this hotel has the good reviews it had other than maybe the workers or friends and family writing them. I should've went on all the negative reviews that were given because they are all true!! HORRIBLE location! Nasty, filthy carpet that was coming up in areas! Loose sink faucet! Ceiling not fixed completely after an obvious leak! Pool was not heated! Hot tub was ice cold and looked like it needed a good scrubbing! Our stay was great! Staff was kind but the lady taking care if the breakfast was fantastic! The property was very clean. Our room was great and everything went smoothly from reserving, check in and check out. The only issue was outdated washer and dryer and there was only one. Other than that, it was a great stay.

The beds were clean but the carpets were beyond filthy/stained (see photos). Not the maids fault - the place needs to be gutted and remodeled. We’ve been driving cross-crossing the country staying at Comfort Inns. The others were all great, especially Flagstaff, Arizona.
