Clarion Hotel and Conference Center

This was the best "bargain" hotel I think I've ever stayed in hands down. Spent 2 nights here and would 100% come back if I'm in town again. Now this isn't a recently renovated place for sure but it's clean, has way more amenities than anyone has a right to expect for the price being paid, and the staff were always helpful. My wife always wants to "upgrade" rooms we stay in but she was impressed with how good this place was and I got some credit for finding a good bargain! I was shocked that it served a complimentary HOT breakfast for this price. There was an indoor pool I would have love to use but was in town to get a tattoo so no go there. The hotel is rather shabby, the hot tub was closed (primary reason we chose to stay there) and it was absolutely freezing in the breakfast area. These are all reasons for a score of zero. The entire staff receives a ten for being professional, kind, and attentive. Kudos to the people. So five is the average score.

Rooms were dirty. Sliding door was broke. Not enough towels, the breakfast was gross and empty. The lady at the breakfast was rude. Front attendant at check in was rude and not helpful. Hotels broken down. Construction and a maze just to get to our room. Freezing rooms and hallways. Horrible stay. Only good thing was the bed was comfortable and they allow dogs.

Positive: "" Negative: Sent pictures and videos. Pool had mold/ algae on walls. Room was under construction, dark mold present. Dripping water into standing stinking water in front of door to room. No refrigerator, no waste bins phone not hooked up. No remote for tv. Etc..

if I could give this hotel a -100 I would. This is by far the worst hotel I ever booked. I supposedly was given an updated room walked in. Temperature said it was on 65 but it felt like 80. It smelled so bad like cigarettes on the first floor. The ceiling was peeling. The trim was coming off, black mold and the curtains were absolutely disgusting. Went to the front desk. She let us go look at another room, which was not much better. Second floor smelled like weed third floor smelled like curry. Lucky enough she gave me a refund and I booked a hotel down the road.
