My experience was far from expectations. The hotel is in a renovating phase. Big construction dumpster was in the parking lot. Because of the remodeling, I ended up getting a flat tire in the parking lot. From all the rubel and construction material from the renovation. The staff was extremely friendly. Did I feel safe during my stay? No. My room felt like I was in the breaking bad show.

Positive: The fact it's conveniently located close to the highway and the convenience of being able to reach local businesses within walking distance. Negative: ""

Really great hotel. Very affordable, very centrally located in the city. Some of the amenities may be what you expect from a three-star hotel, but they’re actively renovating and updating it. The rooms are comfortable and cool, with excellent AC and WiFi. If the road noise bothers you, the walls and curtains are easily thick enough to block it out. The hotel is also incredibly disability friendly thanks to the relatively simple, flat layout. The staff is very kind. They allowed me to buy an extra night and check in 4 hours early when I realized that I arrived a day early for my reservation. Just be aware that late check-ins must be conducted through the night window. Overall, I would definitely say this is one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed for a scientific conference. First impression was a bit ruined because it was under construction so i can't fully blame them, check in and out was super swift, the rooms itself was super clean and comfy except for the fact that the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, don't walk around barefoot. Plus no free breakfast :( the only thing that made it bearable were the staff, they were very kind and helpful and are the only reason i'd consider staying here again.

While very affordable it could use many simple improvements and needs a few. There is clearly work being done to improve this as there was a contractor finishing some work. Daily room cleaning was hit a miss. Some days done nicely with replenishing bathroom supplies and cleaning. Other days with nothing but a couple fresh towels. Communication was hit and miss as there isn't always someone at the front desk and the phone stops eventually stops ringing. The room door should be better sealed as well as there were significant gaps. A bit better security would be appreciated as there was a group of people hanging outside my door being loud 2-3AM. I don't completely regret staying there but try to book farther in advance to see if I could find a similar priced and nicer place.
