Candlewood Suites Washington-Dulles Herndon by IHG

TLDR: Stayed here a few times and I've got no major complaints. Occasional dirty utensil is all I can ever really find "wrong" when staying here but I also dont go looking. Well priced and consistent. Full review of my stay: Staff: My main interactions were with a gentleman named Essam. Super nice guy and helped me out when I walked outside after checking out only to get information that required me to turn right back around and check back in. He had it squared away in less than 5 min and I was right back in a room. Obviously your milage may vary in that specific situation as I assume it depends on availability. Room: this place in consistent. Nothing crazy over the top about the rooms. They're what you'd expect for the price point regarding accomations. Room was clean and had everything

Great hotel and location 15 mins from Dulles airport 10mins from the metro in to D.C. 30min ride.Great staff always greeted with a smile.Rooms are always clean and smell fresh. If your stay is 1 night or a long term stay this hotel has everything you need. If you forget something or want a late night snack the cupboard is stocked with a variety of food items. If you wanna bbq there is a nice gazebo in the back with 2 bbqs for the guests to use. Free onsite laundry machines.like I said everything you need is there. A home away from home ask for Stephanie if your staying 30 days or more.

Great hotel and area excellent value compared to some of the larger hotels in the area. Nice large clean rooms comfortable beds.10 walk to the metro safe area.If you wanna book longer stays ask for Stephanie in guest relations. The whole front desk staff is wonderful as well. Laila is the property manger and Cindy is her assistant. Both go out of there way to make sure your stay is perfect. I highly recommend for business or pleasure and longer stays.

My stay at Candlewood Suites Washington Dulles was an above average experiencece at a reasonable able price. The room was clean and comfortable and offered all the amenities I could ask for. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, especially the front desk clerk Essam, who checked me in. Essam helped me resolve several issues and provided excellent t service. I would definitely stay here again.

I spent two weeks here and would recommend it overall. Pros: decent size room, adequate kitchenette with essential supplies and large refrigerator, good fitness center, complimentary coffee, free laundry, free parking, easy access to the Dulles toll road, very friendly staff. Cons: AC unit was loud and left a bad smell in the room, wifi was slow at times, office chair was very uncomfortable, toilet clogged easily, room was a bit dark, and hotel overall is a bit worn. I usually stay in higher end hotels, but considering the length of my stay, I didn't want to pay $250 a night. This hotel isn't luxurious, but it's a good value.
