Budget Inn

Cozy setting, rests away from the constant noise of traffic from bustling Watt Ave. Owner is pleasant woman that treats you like family.A bit outdated but in my opinion it only adds to the uniqueness of it.

This is an interesting place. It was started by an older woman and was called the "Residence Inn" because the rooms had kitchens and some even had separate rooms. It was very clean and she watched over the entire place like a shepherd with a flock. That was then. It is now owned by Budget Inn and Suites, and is not nearly as well maintained and clean as it was under the founder's tenure. However, it's clean enough and maintained well enough for me to recommend it as a great and unconventional place to stay.

The room smelled like mold. Couldn't sleep the whole night because the bed was making sounds when changed the sides on while trying to sleep. The blanket and pillows were very dirty.

My rating is 4 stars based on the cleanliness factor, as well, there weren't many amenities included as a standard for overnight guests. No in room coffee or pot as standard & the showerheads could use a total upgrade.there isn't a window, nor fan in bathroom which is every necessary to have 1 or the other. But, on the other hand, there is a bathtub, & I enjoy soaking whenever I go to a motel.& rooms are quite spacious & equipped with a nice sized kitchenette including a 2 burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, sink & low bar style table & 2 chairs that can be used as counter space. A cabinet above & 2 below to store ur food items. I felt at home here & would definitely come back again.

Decent place to stay, very quiet and peaceful during the day and especially at night. But the owners are weird, after 1 day that me and my boyfriend stayed there the owner man said we couldn't stay and pay for another day, their reasoning being we were to messy and they don't have hired maid service to clean the rooms each day, him and his wife cleaned them their selves, so they refused to rent a room to us anymore because we might of got a couple towels too dirty and we had a big load of belongings because we were in the process of moving. I personally thought that was not right at all. So rating from me will have to be a 3, and only that high of a rating because they actually did clean that motel up from back in the day when it was trashy to stay there because of all the hookers from Aub
