Best Western Plus Olathe Hotel

Recently under construction, but the room was clean. Not noisy. Once construction is done, it will be a great place to stay as it is already pretty nice with the upgrades they have made. Very easy access to the interstate. Nice breakfast selection.

I was staying in this particular hotel because it was close to my job and my car had broke down so it was cheaper for me to Uber from the hotel to work. However, the experience that I had with the staff was terrible. I will never be back when I checked in my heat was not working in the unit and I called the office and they sent up 2 gentlemen. Who were like and like jeans, hoodie baseball cap type of clothes which honestly, I didn't even know that they worked at the hotel, but neither one of them could fix the heat. So they offered to move me to a new room across the hall. However, I had been so nauseous and weak that I could barely stand up. Let alone gather up my things and move across the hall. They told me to just leave my stuff in this room and go across the hall to the other room,

Booked an ADA room with walk-in shower. (I wear a lower-limb prosthesis). The walk-in shower is extremely convenient for me. We got a regular bath with tub/shower combo. I called desk to inquire (twice) and was put on hold. No one ever bothered to call back or inquire. The light bulb on the desk lamp did not work and there were only decaf coffee pods for the Keurig.|The hotel was under construction, which might have steered me in a different direction when making the reservation. |The bath was, by definition, a bathroom. One must entirely enter the room and stand to one side to shut the door. When open, the door blocks the tub. The countertop -- although it appeared new, had a cute, pump/trough faucet that did not extend far enough over the basin. Water consistently would splash

Positive: Very clean. Quiet. Helpful friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Easy on and off to get around area. Bigger refrigerators in room, nice for longer stays. Negative: Beds a little soft. Highway noise in early morning, suggest asking for a room on opposite side of Highway.

Light didn't work at desk in room. Top sheet had a hole in it. Fitted sheet didn't stay on the mattress. The sheets were cotton unlike other hotel chains. Currently doing remodel work so expect dirt/dust. Managed by Indian (Nedunilam Hospitality) company.
