Americas Best Value Inn Milpitas Silicon Valley

This is honestly a one star inn at best. The employee at the front desk who handled al the resrvation details did not try to smile or be polite a single time; she seemed bothered or irritated from the get go and that continued through every interaction I had with her. The condition of the room was abysmal. I had to take time to personally scrub and cleanse the dors and doorknobs myself from the start as there were streakes with grime and most likely a ton of germs. I assume the towels provided had be laundered, but they were still very noticeably stained and gray tinged. The coffee pot was still half full, dirty and unwashed from the previous occupants. The TV kept glitching and I couldn't figure out how to shut the shower drain so I could take a bath. I brought this up at the front office

This place was nasty. The showers were not clean. They did not have carpet. They had foam padding on the floor. They gave you one face towel and 2 dry towels with 2 queen beds. They were so cheap. They put soap and dispensers for you to use instead of using bar soaps, you can tell this is a very cheap hotel

Positive: "" Negative: Everything! The place was disgusting! No soap in the room. The carpet felt like there was previous water damage. The towels were NOT clean and scratchy.

I am a female traveling alone. This place was a nice cheap stay for one night on a road trip. The worker at the front desk was super pleasant. My room was very nice and clean. Absolutely no issues. Would definitely stay again!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We checked in while visiting family in town and found drugs in the room!! We went to the front desk and all they offered was $20 discount when this is a dangerous substance my toddler could’ve grabbed had I not seen it first and were nothing but rude about the situation and insisted we were lying. They do not have carpet so they floor feels sticky as well as they have no communication, I had to call the desk 3 times to remind them about bringing clean towels and I still had to end up going up to a housekeeper to grab them myself.
