AC Hotel Phoenix North Norterra

Very nice, new hotel. Rooms were clean however, already had some broken items as the doors to under the sink were missing with just hinges on the cabinet. Front desk personnel were very nice. Pool comfortable. The reason for not giving 5 stars was because twice in our 1 night we stayed here, housekeeping barged into our room with their master key while we were in the room. The first time a man used his master key, saw us in the room and backed out saying “Sorry! Housekeeping!”. The second time was the next day at noon. Check out time is noon however, we talked to the front desk the day before for a 2pm check out. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 12pm and I responded “Hello!” And got up to open the door. Wow, what a BEAUTIFUL brand new property in a great neighborhood full of lots of shopping and restaurants. ||I’m at 1400 Marriott nights at this point, and I’ve seen it all, and this is probably my favorite property I’ve stayed at in years. ||Brand new. Rooms are light and comfortable and very chic. Huge really beautiful lobby. Great food and service at the bar from Dee and Timmeka. Every staff member I encountered was so friendly. ||It was my birthday this weekend and I was warmly greeted at the front desk with a huge welcome and even a birthday card. These little touches matter!||Absolutely a 10/10!

It’s fine, but I would describe this as an “AC Lite” - I’ve stayed in a lot of AC properties and this one was a bit different, likely due to being a combo hotel with two different brands (no idea why Marriott does this). The room was much smaller than a typical AC and wasn’t quite as nice. The walls must be very thin because when the people in the next room were talking I could hear every single word. The location of the gym was an odd choice and necessitates walking through the very nice restaurant and bar area in your sweaty gym clothes while people are dining. All that said, the lobby / dining area is very nice, along with the pool. Parking is easy and free too, and it’s located in a new, suburban and safe area.

Hotel room does not look like the trip.com pictures at all. Hotel staff did not knock or ring the bell before entering the room at all. Super dangerous for solo travellers

We stayed here during a soccer tournament in December 2025. Elizabeth Anderson worked with us to prepare for our group's stay, her team made us feel very welcomed once we arrived, and worked to make sure we were well taken care of. They gave us an all around positive experience. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great, golf simulator was a big hit as was the pool, and the gym had everything I needed. If I come back to the Phoenix area, we will be booking here again. Thank you Elizabeth and team!!
