Wyndham Garden New Orleans Airport

Last week when we arrived at the hotel, we turned back the covers in room 128 to discover that the sheets had not been changed since the last visitors. We discovered lots of little short black hairs in between the sheets of our bed. I went to the front desk to speak with Shannon McNeill, she was very nice by the way. I explained the situation, she apologized and went to get us fresh sheets for our king size bed so that we could change the sheets ourselves. She told me to take photos of some of the hairs on the sheets and email them to her. She said that she would get that information to the manager on our behalf; but she also gave me the manager's business card and told me I could email him directly (Mr. Mansour). Positive: Clean, welcoming and comfortable. Negative: We were pretty tired at check in and, although the staff was extremely welcoming, I do not remember being told about the breakfast venue and we almost missed being able to take advantage of the extraordinary lady who was running the operation.

dirty room, dirty towels, dirty bedsheets, stains on the sheets and towels, jacuzzi was dirty and ice cold, the pool was dirty and not maintained either so either were okay to use. Breakfast isn’t free even though you’re staying at a cheapy hotel. for $100 you would think it would but nope it’s a separate charge! Walls are gross, countertops are gross. Our room was right across from the ballroom so there was a party going on with loud music for a very long time and my partner and I couldn’t catch up on rest after we had just traveled all night and day. overall we will not be coming back to this hotel. don’t waste your money

After reading these reviews, I am almost grateful for the crappy business practices I encountered with this hotel. Long story short, our flight was canceled and we booked this hotel for the night from the airport, took an Uber to the hotel (a 15 minute ride) and we got there only to find out they had no rooms available! We were exhausted and had to find another hotel on the spot. We were assured by the front desk my card would not be charged. It was. They also refused to pay the expense for the Uber for accepting a reservation they could not keep for 15 minutes. Haithem Mansour, General Manager, never returned my telephone calls. The front desk manager, Summer, also unhelpful. I'd expect more from Wyndham. I would never recommend anyone stay here.

Horrible! My family and I booked this hotel without any prior knowledge of the hotel and latest reviews. The building wreaked of cigarette smoke when the sign in the lobby clearly states that the property is 100% smoke free. LIES!! I let the front desk employee know (I will not name out of respect for her) about the smoke. She specifically told me that it was the "owner of the hotel" and that he lives on the property. That should not matter, but obviously it does. The employee told me they cannot "kick out" the owner even though he smokes so there was no resolution. I asked for his name and business card but instead she gave me a different business card. Not only was smoke an issue but they have cheap shower curtains. Everytime someone took a shower water leaked out from the shower.
