Holiday Inn New Orleans Airport North, an IHG Hotel

Hands down the absolute BEST hotel stay I’ve had in a while. My sister and I had the pleasure of staying here for a week during Mardi Gras and we really didn’t want to leave!!! The beds, the pillows, the bathroom EVERYTHING was immaculate!! Jarrett… the manager and Amanda (front desk) should be made to train ALL EMPLOYEES at every Holiday Inn because their customer service is top tier!!! Even Bam Bam (inside joke) had great customer service. And let’s talk about the breakfast!!!! Whew weeeee!!!! Delicious!!!! Mariann and Tammy were wonderful, now there was a lady there that did not seem to fit the model (she worked in the kitchen she was rude never spoke and often slept-See the photo ) but she doesn’t count because everyone else was OVER the top with greatness. We arrived late and were impressed that the shuttle bus came to pick us up promptly from the airport. Check-in was efficient. Our room was as advertised - clean and comfy bed. It was strange that one side of the bed was missing a nightstand and lamp. ||Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. There were no yogurts or bananas and it all looked a bit sad.||Overall, in my experience a good place to stay when flying in/out.

I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn near the New Orleans Airport in Kenner. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and made check-in a breeze. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained — a perfect spot for travelers needing convenience and comfort near the airport. My room was spotless and comfortable, with a cozy bed, great water pressure in the shower, and all the amenities I needed, including a mini fridge and a Keurig. I also appreciated how quiet the hotel was, despite being so close to the airport — I got a great night's sleep. The on-site restaurant and bar were a great bonus, offering tasty meals and a relaxing place to unwind. Plus, the free airport shuttle was incredibly helpful and ran right on time. We booked this hotel after a cruise, to be close to and able to use the shuttle to the airport. The staff went above and beyond for us! The clerk this morning, Amanda, worked to get us a room well before check in when we ended up off the ship MUCH earlier than expected and had nowhere else to go with our luggage. The 2 young ladies working this evening gave us several dinner options where we could get one last delicious Louisiana meal before leaving. Everyone has been so kind to us! Keep up the great work!

The worst check-in experience of my life. The lobby was full of people waiting for rooms when I arrived 30 min prior to usual check in time. I waited over 2 hours for my room, which was mediocre at best. Staff were as helpful as they could be, which was minimally. The understaffing at this establishment is blatant and made a massive impact on the traveler’s experience. Do not recommend.
