DO NOT EVER stay at WoodsSpring Suites in Jacksonville FL. There are three of us staying in this room. I asked for some extras towels and a couple extra pillows. "We don't have those. We only have what's in the rooms." Strike one. We had just gotten our adult son out of the hospital after traumatic injuries. He cannot stand to take a shower and can literally only take baths at the moment. There's no plug in the tub drain. Back downstairs to the front desk (which, by the way, has a roll-down solid wooden partition and a bell to ring) to ask for a drain plug. "We don't have one. None of our tubs have plugs." WHAT?!? His attitude was completely nonchalant, unsympathetic, uncaring and cold. I mentioned the the property would be getting the lowest review possible. "Ok." I should mention a coup

This hotel is very nasty there’s a transgender manger he/she is very rude don’t have no respect and all the worker including ms angelica are staying inside the hotel and the he/she the manager staying in 318 and her/he workers stay on the 4th floor my bike got stolen she tried to get me trespassed and she did not let me rebook my room she is harvesting puppies in that room growing them and selling the dog while living on the property choice hotels did nothing about it this is very unacceptable my advice save your money they don’t have corporate and nothing will be done I’m 18 and she let me book a room there on several occasions witch is illegal I hope this gets to a higher up or some one who want a clean business that makes legit money I have sent money vie Cash App to here more then

First I had to provide everything, when it says limited room service online I ddI not think it meant I would have to pay additional to change my towels at least 1 or 2 times in the week I stayed. I had to clean the bathroom just to be able to feel comfortable to take a bath. The room had a funny smell. The only thing is the stove was not working and they came quickly and changed it. The hotel's location was good at first glance, but once you enter, the smell of marijuana in the lobby is awful. The front desk staff seemed more concerned with their phone calls than with the guests. Something strange I noticed was that when I checked in, the guy gave me the room number so I could check it out and, if I decided to stay, come down to pay. When I went up to that floor, the room stank. I rented a non-smoking room, and it reeked of marijuana. The bathroom was unhygienic and filthy; the toilet, the bathtub, everything was dirty. I was with my family, including my son, and obviously, I wasn't going to stay in that dump. I canceled and found another hotel. My experience was terrible.

They sold our room after we spoke to them earlier on the same day to verify our reservation and let them know about our late arrival time, in which they confirmed our reservation and said check in would be fine. We arrived and the reception counter was locked down so we called back and literally spoke to the same guy we initially talked to, only for him to tell us the hotel was full and that he never spoke to anyone earlier. The guy on the phone was not helpful and rude. He sounded like he was asleep and we woke him up. The hotel looked questionable from outward appearances with strange individuals lingering around. Not even upset about losing the room cause who knows what condition it would be in. Extremely dissatisfied with the service and the way this situation was handled.
