TownePlace Suites by Marriott Jacksonville Mayport

We had such a wonderful stay! The hotel is incredibly clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed — everything feels fresh, modern, and welcoming. The location is perfect — just minutes from the beach in Jacksonville and so close to Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park, which made it easy for our family to get outside and enjoy the area. The free breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, the heated pool was a huge hit with our kids, and the watermelon water in the lobby was truly to die for — such a refreshing and elevated touch. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Yenima, Eric, Kelcie, and Bernardo were beyond kind and accommodating. Our kids were going absolutely wild in the lobby at one point, and instead of making us feel stressed or uncomfortable, they were warm,

New hotel still working out the few kinks but very friendly staff, amazing breakfast, large well equipped gym, and nice large heated pool (and gas fire pit) outside. Location sort of sparse, one Mexican place nearby that was eh. Still building the area out so that should improve. Nice to stay at a hotel where the staff isn’t jaded and all the little things like barbels and cutlery have yet to be pilfered.

The manager is fantastic. The whole facility of brand new, very clean & the amenities are great. The pool is heated & in a more quiet setting out back next to a very large outdoor grill, table & seating area (great place for a gathering of people staying here). The breakfasts were tasty (waffles, 2 kinds of eggs-scrambled & another rotating option), protein & cereals (hot/ cold), juices & coffee/ tea bar. The gym has everything you need for cardio or weights. The rooms were clean & comfy. The pillows are quite firm (one softer option would be nice) & the beds are medium firm. It's very nice to have a good sized fridge & mini kitchen in room, especially for liberty stays.

Wanted to leave a review about how amazing the staff is here, all incredibly friendly, but Kelsie at the front desk is a super star. She was amazing with our 4 year old, and went out of her way to really make our child feel special. You could truly see how kind and caring of a person she is. Can’t think of a way to thank her enough, she deserves a raise! Thank you Kelsie and the crew at Mayport Town Place Suites!

This is our third stay at this particular property and every time we leave I’m a bit sad. Eric and his staff are top notch! Everyone is friendly from the housekeepers, breakfast staff, and of course our favorite, Charley! They take pride in their jobs and it’s reflected in the entire atmosphere at this Marriot property! I would recommend to anybody!
