Navy Lodge Mayport

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Excellent beach front room with amazing views from our balcony! Great continental breakfast and staff was very pleasant and accommodating! I can't wait to come back again! Thank you for making our stay very memorable!

Check-in is at 4:00 pm but Tina called me early to let me know that my room is ready. Thank you! Our room was immaculate. Breakfast was nice. The ocean view with ships sailing in the night was captivating. The gas grill was not working or was not turned on. Friendly guests make a significant difference.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, they have balconies with tables and chairs so you can sit outside. We had the most beautiful view of the Ocean from our balcony. The location is close to everything on Mayport Naval Station. I love staying here.

We arrived and the receptionist was handling a call she didn't acknowledge us. Yet while we waited to check in, patiently, she complimented a passing couple on their attire, while still on the phone. Then she thanked us for our patience and finally checked us. We went to the continental breakfast. I wasn't able to find anything I could eat or any decaf coffee. Our room was clean but we could tell that they were making improvements when we noticed the bathroom floor. Yet, we noticed that the support staff were friendlier then the front desk personnel.

Spartan room, no desk, just a two person dining area/island, no dishes or flatware. But, the view and ocean breeze is well worth it. Right on the beach. Great customer service.
