Residence Inn by Marriott Jacksonville-Mayo Clinic Area

4 girls celebrating one of us for her birthday and we were amazed how big those rooms were. The bathroom were big enough for all of us . We docorated the place and still had space to dance and enjoy. They had great aesthetics by the dining. They also had a bar omg and lots of sitting spaces with different ambiance. The location was perfect and safe.they had alot selection for breakfast, they even provide take out plates and bags. And before they close the kitchen they check each person if they need anything before they close. What an experience 🤗. And we requested if we can exit at 2pm and they were fine with no extra charges. We enjoyed the services, the rooms and the breakfast. I would recommend anyone to go there. I will sure come back.

Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at this establishment and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the Michael and other front desk staff. Having visited this location on multiple occasions, it is always a welcome sight to encounter a familiar face. The accommodations were comfortable, cozy, and immaculate. The patio area is particularly inviting, providing a serene space to relax and unwind after a long week. During inclement weather, the stones illuminate, offering a gentle warmth. I highly recommend staying at this hotel again, particularly considering the absence of parking fees.

Mom was receiving therapy at the Mayo Clinic and this was a highly recommended property close by which has hourly shuttle service from 7 to 5 every day, which made it extremely convenient since parking is limited, sometimes especially in the morning at the clinic. The room was fully equipped for our three week stay with a large refrigerator,small toaster, utensils, dishes, pots,microwave, and stovetop, Plenty of storage for groceries which were close by for either pick up or delivery. We had the room with two queen, beds and TVs in both rooms. The property had riser seats for the toilet for the elderly as well as shower chairs if needed, and had grab bars . Positive: I have to go to Mayo for appointments and this hotel is perfectly located to the clinic and shops for anything needed. Everyone is always very nice and the hotel is always quiet and very clean. The rooms are very nice and relaxing. Negative: ""

If you need to stay for Mayo Clinic visit & you need extended stay with full kitchen, take a look at this hotel seriously. It is 5 years old compared to Hilton nearby which opened October 2025. I stayed at different times both places and both are great with some caveats. Hilton has no kitchen and all of the rooms are studios while Residence Inn Marriott has 1 bedroom suites with full kitchen. Marriott has great free breakfast daily including weekends while Hilton does not include it unless you choose another level where you add paid breakfast. The restaurant at Hilton has also lunch and dinner which I think is just overpriced. I ate at Davis building Mayo Clinic for a great breakfast which cost half as much.
