WoodSpring Suites Fort Wayne

Took over 30min & a phone call to reservation line to get someone to front desk, when person finally did show up seem distressed not entirely sure from what manager ended up calling as the person was on hold with finally got through. Toilet seat is secured, toilet paper holder in awful spot, door looks like someone tried to break in, walls are absolutely nasty, light is out in bathroom, open cutout cabinet is gross, light switch covers not secured, stains on floor. Small tv & remote did not work well, location is not great & some of the guest saw or heard were questionable. Not a place I would recommend staying at & hopefully company work for never puts me back in this hotel again

I have stayed here for a week or so and the place has grown on me. When I first came here it was a very rocky start. The room was not in the best shape to say the least The customer service could be brought up an octave, but for the most part all the staff are great! When I informed management about my room they did get me moved to another room with a few dollars off, I do feel as a dedicated customer and a 30 year retired retail manager they could have done much better with the compensation considering the situation but, I am happy now days to be able to report they at least made an attempt! This is a good place to stay passing through or if you need a home away from home, just don't expect it to be too much on the Holiday Inn side but, quaint is more the word for it!

There was nothing in the room to make it a nice stay. I didn't expect luxury, but I thought It would at least feel comfortable. There was only a bar of soap, not even tissues or paper towels. It was fairly cheap, but I could have booked a hotel with another place, for a similar rate and at least gotten a little more amenities. I wanted to use the work out room, but I was unable to find it. The location was great, however, for the reason for our stay. [Review collected by TrustYou]

Simply put. There are Cockroaches here. I Killed two in my room. They blatantly said people have already come to spray they aren’t coming for another two weeks. One of the workers said “hotels get bugs sometimes”. Another said “There’s nothing we can do except either give you $50 off or you can leave and we can refund you your money”. Roaches aren’t bugs they are ABOMINATIONS!!!! Other than that hotel staff was nice and friendly.

Came here for a night first room heat didn't work so they moved me to a room with the most disgusting room with the most disgusting fridge. I stuck it out for the night and checked out in the morning. They sent me a email asking about my stay so I was honest about it. Decided tonight that maybe I'll give them another shot and during check in the refused to give me a room because of my honesty about their room. This is such a horrible company.
